Thank you so much for helping me out yesterday! I went to see my GP and I actually got the last appoinment she had. She did not give me painkillers, but she promised to contact my neuro and ask him why I have not heard from him. She said she'll call me today as soon as she has heard from him. So I'll start topamax soon... She also wrote me a certificate in which she mentions that I should get extinuation until the end of the summer to finish my dissertation. She was very nice and actually understood what CH is all about. Direct quote: "You must be living in Hell". I wish us all lots of PF days! And people who understand what we are going through. sandie99

Hey Sandie, I'm glad the appointment with your GP went well. Sometimes even just little steps can make all the difference!! I know I usually start to just feel better just having a doctor's appointment or just having something planned to try to see if it will help. May sound silly, but it does usually put my mind at ease and allow me to keep functioning! About the dissertation, I'm glad you will get an extension. School seems insurmountable at times, but I have faith that you can do it! Take care! Lizzie
