Man, here we go again. I've finally realized that the days when I could tell excactly when I would get hit are over. Before it was every third month and then for a three week period.

Just got over a cycly two weeks ago. So I thought -  great three months to go. But this morning the Beast paid me a visit again. Same thing with the cycle before that. 2-3 weeks of remission. Then BANG!!!!.

Why can't the beast just follow a calendar or something. Visiting hours are 9-5 you sob!  Wink

Just had to get it out of my system.

Ciao

I hear you loud and clear.

I used to know until last yr. Same shit. Id Get hit and it would bugger off for a yr. Now I get hit, the beast would take a 2-4wks holiday. Then bang the bastard would be knocking on the door again. Ive given up on trying to work out when to expect him.
Now I just leave the sofa bed made up for whenever he turns up.

He's like that relative that you just cant stand.

You hate when there are family functions to go too when you know that they will be there, but you learn to tolerate them. (Or hide in the kitchen next to the beer fridge)

I know that all to well

I spend weeks working out when the beast is due to appear I get into HIS routine and then just as I'm used to 3am then 9am then 11pm hits he will play silly buggers and move his attacks all over the place. Evil bastard that he is. I would love to say I love his spirit of adventure but I don't.

That is about the only good thing about being chronic, I never have to fear the beast will return because he never leaves. I dont think I could handle going a year or two pain free like some people do, all the while fearing a return of the SOB.

It is kind of scary jonny, I am coming up close on my year and part of me hopes that it wont stop and I will be chronic for that same reason.  Stupid really.  I think about how much nicer it would be on my kids and husband to not have this go on all the time and have some sort of break, but I dont know if I could take the fear of when it would come back.

Mine were in spring and fall but every now and then I'd get a one week or so reminder in late July or August. Can't say I needed it.

Hope this thing goes to a once a millenium schedule for you all.
