Buddy and I wanted to do something nice for my Mom and Dad, for Eater and Mother and Fathers day. So we put our heads together and decided to clean out their carport and fix it up so they could sit out there and not fall or slip on something and kill themselfs, or get hurt bad. We get up early and off we go and we move every thing from old tv to high chairs you name it it was in her carport. Then to dump we go. We stop and get some indoor outdoor carpet you that grass looking kind. We go back and lay it out move in their launge chairs and table and chair set. Everything was going great. My mother and I go inside to fix dinner and the phone rings. My mother told me to hurry and answer the phone. I started up the steps and triped my tried to recover from the trip and balance myself. It made things worst my knee hit the medal piece on the top step. It hurt so bad. I laid on the floor and held my knee, I saw the worried look on my moms face and was able to say Mom I am OK just give me a minute. I am rolling back and forth then I feel sick so I laid back and then as I laided my head down, the room fliped upside down. I was able to say get Buddy before I passed out. Mom can't find Buddy so she goes and gets a wet wash cloth and puts on my head. I wake up to hear her screaming for Buddy and hearing my Dad say, OH my God what happen and then hearing Buddy asking what happen. I been having heart problems so poor Buddy and Dad are thinking I had a heart attack. Mom told them both to calm down and explained what happen. I am good and awak now and I hear Buddy say. She fell up the steps? How the hell does a person fall up the steps? He is picking me up and saying ONLY MY WIFE? After my dad and Buddy give me what for for scaring the hell out of them. I sepend the rest of the day at the Doctors office having xrays. Cracked the bone just below my knee and pulled something in my knee. Any way now I am home and have a swollen knee and a knee brace on. They said the pain was more than my could take so my brain shut me down a few minutes is why I passed out. I am home and it hurts like well it friggen hurts. I have to put ice on it off and on. Buddy is doing ok after his scare. He is in the bed asleep poor man ! He has made bad jokes about me falling all evening he is tired LOL It wasn't a total lost Mom and Dad loved their carport Hope all of you are having a better week end than me.

Elaine! I am so sorry to hear of your accident. I will be praying for you to recover quickly. Your poor family I can just imagine how scared they must have been for you. I am glad it was not your heart. At least you got the majority of the work done right?!

Chuck PS: Elaine, honey, you know I am only kidding! I love you and the other whacky wimmins here. But damnit! BE CAREFUL!!! I need you to harass! Love ya, and sorry you had such a rough time.

No wonder they took the Three Stooges off of TV. Hurrying to answer the phone, probably wanted to sell you some new windows or something. That DOES sound painful. Beautiful thought though, helping them with the carport. Elaine, Elaine, Hugs dear. Kevin M
