The middle, or the end? Wish I knew...

Man, what a miserable past two weeks... But you know what? It has been the best -CH- wise, cycle I've had, mostly because of this family and the helpful info members have passed on. I went to my doc informed, and he responded. The Melatonin tip was a godsend (much more sleep than pain) and the combo of imitrex/02 have kept the daytime attacks short and manageable. My pal, SFJoe has written me everyday to check on my condition. The things we have in common are nearly unbelievable! I thought I was the only one who (used to) foolishly smear Vicks all around my nose and eye socket during an attack. My God, those were dark years...I felt so alone and worried. When my cycle is done, I'll going to stick around and help a sufferer like Joe (and others) has helped me. In my heart, I know how deeply valuable the sharing is! Hanging in, counting the days- Nolan

Nolan, Welcome to the Family!!! I'm so glad that we were able to help you with info to take to your Doc, so that your Doc knows you have a place to gather it now too. Maybe this will help keep him on his toes!! There's just so much info here for you to gather, and if you can't find it for some reason, don't hesitate to ask! Even after your cycle is over, stay around and help us continue to row this ship!!....I think it's grown from a boat to a ship now...LOL!!! Pretty soon we'll be refilling the tanks for the engines, instead of rowing with oars, to get this ship moving toward a cure!! Mikey,

Thanks for the welcome. I've only been here a week, and it feels like I know a lot of you already. I have absolutely no idea where I am in my cycle, but I'm feeling better than I have a right to. Usually, two weeks in I'm a mess. All due to the advice and support I've gotten here. Awesome. Again, thanks everyone. I feel very welcome. Nolan

Way Cool Nolan You'll probably find the place hard to avoid too. It's as much fun as it is helpful. Too bad Jonny doesn't post more often Charlie

I don't want to say anything to jinx myself (even though I really don't believe in that stuff) but I think my cycle is winding down! The attacks are coming less often and not as severe. I have more energy and I'm feeling more like my old self. When I know it is over for sure, I'll post in BIG BOLD letters, and you crazies can do your happy dances and notes of relief and joy! I love seeing that stuff! Oh, how I've waited for this day to come... Nolan (Still in the tunnel, but the light is getting brighter)
