I'm not sure, lately I've had some really weird stuff happening with my head, I think I also have cph, and I've been getting this weird headache on the top of my head, they hurt, but I've had ch so long that my pain tolerance is otherworldly to say the least.  I don't take anything for them, I think maybe they are tension ha's, but they don't bother me enough to worry.  Grin

I get aura, but it never has developed into a migraine.  It occurs randomly through the year, or if I over-exert myself. The aura is never connected to clusters either (the beast only visits in the summer).

Leesa,  I don't guess I'd know a migraine if I fell over one...I know I've never had a HA last more than 2-3 hours, and I've never vomited from one.  So my answer is negative, count me lucky just to have good ole' CH.

I only get migraines when I go for too long without eating and then I drink a lot of caffeine.  I've had about 4.

I am not sure what a migraine would feel like, I assume that means I have not had one.

Besides CH, I had never had a headache until a couple weeks ago (unless ya count hangovers  Grin but those are gone).

Caffeine withdrawal headaches for the last couple weeks but after the first few days, they've been a walk in the park.  hopefully, they're gone soon.

I actually get 2-3 textbook migraines per year too.

They only started to happen after I had a photoinduced-seizure from TheSuperMind (a machine that flashes a light at high frequencies and is supposed to do something with your brains alpha waves). That was in 1993.

My parents think that whole incident are the reasons for me having cluster headaches. Not too sure.

I see it sort of has been discussed, but has there been medical evidence of gynecological procedures effecting different headaches?

Interesting.

Migraine in many women is hormone triggered, but before you ask about Ch and hormones, this has been discussed many times before on here

Freddy, I've heard a variety of answers regarding this issue.  I wouldn't think that it would help clusters, but maybe for some people?  However, sometimes people do wind up getting them for certain types of migraine.  Actually, it is usually that something else goes wrong and they have to do the surgery, and then the migraine is effected by it.  Menstrual migraine is the main one I heard could be relieved by the surgery, however some of the people who I know who've had it done said their migraines got worse, and some said they stayed the same.  It's always disappointing when that happens when the doc assures them beforehand that this is going to take the migraines away or at least make them a lot less frequent!

I don't think I'll be trying this any time soon...unless I would absolutely have to!
