OUCH racing update....

Well the second race went better than the first, but we still could manage no better than 12th after qualifying 4th. Two flats and some bad luck doomed Sunday's effort. On the bright side, before the races started, the track announcer came by asking for more information about OUCH. At the time I was busy, so a fellow crewman gave him one of Mast's fine brochures. As soon as I found out he was asking questions, I dropped what I was doing and went to speak with him. It turns out he had seen the web addy on the car Saturday during practice and had visited the OUCH website. Now the kicker.....he is a Clusterhead! And from what I gathered, he had not met a fellow CH until he met me. He had no idea about the CH info and support he could find on OUCH and here. Due to the tight schedule Sunday he was unable to interview me on the PA system, but promised to do so the next time our series visits the track in May. So....at the very least, one person has been reached. Words can't discribe how glad I am that the effort has paid off in some small way. The OUCH logo will stay on the car for at least 2 more events. After that, a potential sponsor I have been courting may sign on for a couple of races, so the decals will have to come off. Gotta pay the bills. But until then, our car owner and driver have agreed to leave OUCH on the car. As always, I will keep everyone updated. Bill
