Tried to get assistance or samples of Imitrex due to low financial income, but I got the brush off email today. For now I am just riding out attacks and fighting with medicaid to try and get more allotted per month. Peace, Carl D

Carl, if anyone would know you would, try, try again. If you keep after the creeps they will get tired of you and give you a prize to go away or get you out of their hair. Change your name a little, give them your Moms address or whatever. I just spent about a year fucking with my insurance co. to get an increase, finally they gave in. Don’t give up, that’s what their counting in. Lee……….

Carl . .get your doc to go to the drug company for you . . he/she should have a form (they get free freaking samples, and have an inside track with their drug rep) . .. seriously, I used to work in a doctor's office, they should have a form (or can ask the drug rep for one) and be able to fill it out and help you get the meds. miapet

Carl, I may be able to help you with all this BS. I've already been researching your case for a couple hours now, and there are possiblities available. (A couple years back, a CH sufferer from South Africa couldn't even get any Imitrex, I worked with her and in just about 1 month, she had all the Imitrex she needed. And that's from working from here in the USA all the way over to S. Africa!) There are benefits out there, each case is different. If you are willing, I can E-mail you, as I'd have to ask some personal questions about your situation to best help you. Sometimes it takes some fighting, then again, sometimes it just involves the right resources and I've been working on those for 3 years now. You can either E-mail me with as much information as possible and we can work from there, or simply reply that it's okay for me to write you and start a process to get you what you need. (The first suggestion would make things go quicker). Glad to help, Dave Edit for PS: Miapet's idea is a good one for the time being and worth trying. This would only work once or twice though if the doctor is even willing. Do you agree Miapet?

Sorry to hear Carl. This was the first of the big drug companies to cut back on exports to Canada in its humanitarian effort to saving American lives by limiting poor people's access to cheap Canadian drugs. Must be they ship all the drugs that don't make the grade to Ontario. Thank god they are looking out for us Seriously, the more reliable way to deal with companies and legislators is to send a real letter...preferably in a No. 10 envelope with your message not more than two or three parapgraphs. The fewer the better. Email is too simple. It's too easy to say no. A letter forces them to deal with the real world. Nice work Dave. You're an ambitious man. Good luck Carl. Charlie

Dave, I agree and disagree . . .there is a limited number of times, but it can be re-newed (and yes, it can be a pain in the fanny, but if there is someone to help you *Carl* jump through the hoops, then you don't have to stress about it *ex: wife, g/f, sister, brother, etc*). . .and, I do think it's worth trying (and using) at least until you can help Carl fight the good fight, and get it so there is no more need to get the Doc involved. When we would do it, we didn't get the meds delivered to us, they went directly to the patient. miapet *add the (and yes, it can be a pain . . . ) part *g*
