Looking for a Dr.

I'm looking for a Doctor in the Mississppi Area who understands clusters. I've called some of the local neurologists - but they aren't taking new patients till June. My clusters will be over by then!!

As we all know - there is a big difference between being a neurologist and specializing (or understanding) in cluster headaches. I've done all the internet searches and can tell you all the neurolgist names.
However, I'm looking for personal experience with a good doctor. I have a lot of recomendations of which neurologist not to go see!
I appreciate any help!

You're right to seek out a neuroligist who specializes in "headaches" as these things are rare. Even though your cycle will be ending, you might want to establish with one to help you on the next one. I alway keep an appointment with mine well in advance.
Are you currently taking any medications, preventive, abortive?
BTW, I used to live in Gulfport and attended USM in Hattiesburg. I was in Vicksburg last October--I really miss the deep south.
