Alergies and CH

We had been having some "stormy" weather here in Nor Cal (like we actually have storms!) but regardless it wasn't spring yet.

Then suddenly here came spring...weeks of gloom and rain and BAM, sunshine beautiful day...

And BAM, here comes the CH...lovely.

I normally get allergies this time of year, fairly strong ones at that.  And it seems that taking Claritin not only easys (actually removes) any allergies, it seems to lessen the occurance of CH.  If I take a 24 hr the odds of me getting a CH is a lot lower than if I don't.  Granted Claritin doesn't cancel a CH...it just "seems" that when I take the pills I have a lesser chance of getting the Ache...but when I forget to take 'em, I definitely get one that night...or day...whatever.

I've been through the cycle so many times now that I don't count on ANYTHING being a specific cure/help/good thing to prevent/diminish 'em...so I am seriously skeptical here...

But I'm curious to see if anyone else out there has seen any connection between seasonal allegeries, medication and CH.

Thanks!
Crawford

Honestly I'm thinking it is more of a placebo effect.  It doesn't work perfectly...but "seems" to "help", if you know what I mean.

Oh man, what if a placebo actually DID work?   laugh  I know that when I'm on the ground rolling I'm certainly doing my absolute best to will it away...

Ugh, the fact that I find that above statment funny...frightens, confuses...and makes me laugh more.

I definately feel a connection with allergies or really more like seasonal weather changes. My "season" only occurs about every 2-2.5 years lasting about 30-40 days. When it does come about, it always happens to be when a front is brewing. Of course we have plenty of fronts through out the year and when I'm not in season, these don't bother me at all. I might try Clariton since it's non scrip and I don't take anything else other than O2.

Thanks, Pete
