Wouldn't it be interesting

If we had a sort of virtual map/switchboard that we could push a button or something when we get hit and it would register so that we could see all the other people getting hit at the same time? I guess it would fall somewhere in between disturbing and comforting, but interesting nonetheless. Perhaps even a server that kept stats for us individually and as a group like a database that could be sorted by time, location, number of hits etc...
Just a thought.
Ooops, gotta go!
I'm pressing my button now!!!!

That's a cool idea. It would be a great way to see if there are any patterns. I'm a believer that the barometric pressure changes play some role in triggering clusters. We would be able to see if it does by comparing people in the same region at the same time.  thumb

Cool idea, except I'm not too keen about knowing how many people are going through hell at the same time. Undecided

I have an eerie feeling that light would be on constantly.  It's a comforting thought, but a sorry one to, to say the least. Roll Eyes

Statistics can be many things to many persons. Disturbing to some, interesting to others, and just possibly helpful to all.

What if all of these stats, provided by CH sufferers could lead researchers to a few pre-mixed cocktails? Or doctors to quicker diagnosis? How about the ER visists where an attending physcian could access such data and you wouldn't end up in thier loony ward?

Just something to think about. And while you're at it, if it were there, would ya take a cpl minutes each day to use it? Most of us probably keep some kind of a CH diary, but where is there a repository of world-wide data?

Try Python, I think I can even handle it, I could not get a handle on Fortran, but basic was ok.

Hitting a button while getting hit, I would have more important things to do.

Well, instead of a button we could build a pressure sensor into your wall that would register you when you start banging your head against it. Grin

I like the sensor built into the wall...or maybe the floor...or the bedpost...or the chair....or better yet...build one right into your own fist headbanger...Luke

Ok, the head on wall senser sounds good, but make sure the hardware comes with a Linux driver.
