Threading through the needle’s eye
Weaving webs of blinding life
Sewing scars into the pattern
Carving wounds with a penknife
Decorative flesh with dead designs  
Unsteady hands that draw the line
Somewhere in this doleful vision  
Tears the fabric of my time…
