Thyroid ?

Hi all, I was just wondering.....

How many people have a thyroid problem with CH?  I tried doing a search but don't seem to find anything posted since 2000.

For the past 8 months I've been having my thyroid checked.  I was taking synthroid in the early 90's but for stupid reasons I stopped taking it.  Last year I decided to check it out again.  I have multiple lumps in my thyroid.  I've had the ultrasound, scan and 2 biopsys.  Inconclusive.  I need to get another biopsy in June.

Anyway - I keep thinking that there must be a connection.  Funny as this sounds, I know a CH is coming because the pain starts in my neck - front not back.  It's a blinding pain that stabs my neck runs up the side of my face and then sits behind my eye.  All this happens in about 3 seconds.  CH can last between 45 minutes and 3 hours.

Just curious if anyone out there has a thyroid thing going!  Thanks.

Wishing you all PFDAN always, Linda T

I have hypo-thyroid and Hoshimoto's hypothyroid.  Two very differet things as Hoshimoto's is an autoimmune disease and is slowly but surely killing my thyroid and it will have to be removed at some point.  They dont want to do it now as they "know" what my immune system is attacking and dont want it to change to something else.

Not sure if that helps you at all.

ps. I hope the biopsys turn out ok.

I am hypo and have been for 15 years  After I had half of my thyroid removed because of a large tumor. The other half has quite a few small ones on it, but they haven't grown since I've been on replacements. I only started with ch in the last 6, but I have always had migraines.
I hope this helps

I hope you have  great day
