Topic: Am I cursed? (Read 450 times) |

I shit you not.... first night in the new apartment/townhouse.... and there's a fucking electrical fire on my side! Some switch on the furnace that's supposed to shut it off if it overheats didn't work... have the gloriously wonderful smell of burned wire insulation throughout the place....
so... am i cursed?
Lizzie, who's seriously thinking about moving into an igloo because it can't catch on fire....

You may be right Jim. I accidently started a curtian on fire yesterday when I set my cigarette down by the window in my smoking room. No big deal I was there to quickly put it out. What's with the fire bug ???

Lizzie...you'll never believe this. My dad set his trash can on fire in the basement of our house today with a cigarette! My mom has candles lit all around the downstairs now to try to get rid of the smell. I came home tonight, impromptu for a funeral tomorrow morning, and they tell me my dad is trying to burn the house down! Oooooook maybe it's our name or something? LOL

Correct about the igloo being fire proof. But, your furnishing can burn. What if the pool table catchs fire? or the hot tub has a short circuit? Or the drapes in the smoking room get lit. But, there is a plus side, if you do have a fire in your igloo the ceiling will drip and put the fire out.

ah yes... silly me, BobG! forgot I was gonna build an igloo mansion!!
Edna: absolutely right! I DO feel very very blessed! Two cars totaled and no long-term damage to my son.... Two fires, and the humans are still alive and well..... (cat that made it through the first fire was so freaked by the second one that he pooped TEN times behind my sister's toilet!!)
Now are you SURE you want the three of us coming to Nashville?????
