Well Tarara~~boomdeee~ay... welcome to woman hood... Sweating in the night is usually some hormonal thing but I checked your age and you are way too young for hot flashes... Night sweats can be a sign of other problems though, so be sure to tell your doc about it next time... Could be your thyroid or something... get it checked out... Could possibly be something as simple as a side effect from meds too...
Feel bettah honey.............love ree

Would I be correct if I deduced that the word HARMONES is not derived from the word HARMONIOUS   Grin

Hey Tara,

I used to get those when I was on verapamil.  I'd get them in the middle of the day too!  The joys of taking meds!  To be safe, be sure to talk to your doc about it.

Thanks guy and gals.  Yeah I don't think its the flu cause if I had it I'd know by now.  Must be the Meds.  I was reading with Pred u are susceptible to getting sick easier (lowers your immune system) and my brother in law was here yesterday and he had the flu.....I was not impressed cause I don't want my kids getting it either!  Wanna know what he  said to me?  "I'd rather have a headache anyday over the flu!"  Pissed me right off!

prednisone makes me sweat in middle of night very similar to hot flashes.  It appears in the other posts you are probably too young for hot flashes, unless you've had a hysterectomy and are on hormones.

my guess...prednisone.

good luck and pf vibes headed your way
