Found this, thouth it was worth passing on

Pizza Hut order in a few years

Operator: "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut. May I have your national ID number?"

Customer: "Hi, I'd like to place an order."

Operator: "May I have your NIDN first, sir?"

Customer: "My National ID Number, yeah, hold on, eh, it's 6102049998-45-54610."

Operator: "Thank you, Mr.  Sheehan. I see you live at 1742 Meadowland Drive, and the phone number's 494-2366. Your office number over at Lincoln Insurance is 745-2302 and your cell number's 266-2566. Which number are you calling from, sir?"

Customer: "Huh?  I'm at home.  Where d'ya get all this information?"

Operator: "We're wired into the system, sir."

Customer: (Sighs) "Oh, well, I'd like to order a couple of your All-Meat Special pizzas."

Operator: "I don't think that's a good idea, sir."

Customer: "Whaddya mean?"

Operator: "Sir, your medical records indicate that you've got very high blood pressure and extremely high cholesterol. Your National

Health Care provider won't allow such an unhealthy choice."

Customer: "Damn. What do you recommend, then?"

Operator: "You might try our low-fat Soybean Pizza. I'm sure you'll like it."

Customer: "What makes you think I'd like something like that?"

Operator: "Well, you checked out 'Gourmet Soybean Recipes' from your local library last week, sir. That's why I made the suggestion."

Customer: "All right, all right. Give me two family-sized ones, then."

Operator: "That should be plenty for you, your wife and your four kids, sir. Your total is $49.99."

Customer: "Lemme give you my credit card number."

Operator: "I'm sorry sir, but I'm afraid you'll have to pay in cash. Your credit card balance is over its limit."

Customer: "I'll run over to the ATM and get some cash before your driver gets here."

Operator: "That won't work either, sir. Your checking account's overdrawn."

Customer: "Never mind. Just send the pizzas. I'll have the cash ready. How long will it take?"

Operator: "We're running a little behind, sir. It'll be about 45 minutes, sir. If you're in a hurry you might want to pick 'em up while you're out getting the cash, but carrying pizzas on a motorcycle can be a little awkward."

Customer: "How the hell do you know I'm riding a bike?"

Operator: "It says here you're in arrears on your car payments, so your car got repo'ed. But your Harley's paid up.

Customer: "@#%/$@&?#!"

Operator: "I'd advise watching your language, sir. You've already got a July 2006 conviction for cussing out a cop."

Customer: (Speechless)

Operator: "Will there be anything else, sir?"

Customer: "Yes, I have a coupon for a free 2 liter of Coke".

Operator: "I'm sorry sir, but our ad's exclusionary clause prevents us from offering free soda to diabetics."

That type of database compilation would be an undertaking even beyond Google's capacity, just yet.  To pay for that info would not be in Pizza Hut's interest do to neglible addition to bottom line for it's implemation.
However, insurance companies may not be beyond going for it.  I work in the airline industry and not only do they go back ten years on misdemeanors, a listing of DUI's is to be listed for that period and they do credit rating checks on everyone.  Clearance is stringent, perhaps though as it should be.
Good thing I paid very hefty for a lawyer in the 90's or I'd be called in and terminated, good-bye, now.
Child support in arrears is also not tolerated, here in MI anyway, we are at will employees in the job I work, no union by the way.
Curiously, marajuana convictions over two years are ok, prior to hiring.

This is just a humours look at the of infoglut thay may be available if there is nothing put into place to stop it.

No Pizza Hut would doubtfully undertake this, although I would not put it past any corporate smug that thought it could use this information gain a marketing edge or stipends from corporations that have a vested interest in "A" potential outcome.

Oh, and a very excellent example too Athos.  Pretty creative, I really enjoyed it.  "A" potential outcome, (or income) from it's use is a potential pr problem due to discriminatory overtones.  Public outcry against a company would have to be a consideration in it's implementation.  Letting company employees (especially the pizza delivery person) privy to that kind of info would increase possibilities of misuse by those employees and company liabilities.
You're right though, the only thing preventing it being a reality is companies figuring how to make a buck with it safely.  I would write my attorney general to have them erase my info, as I would not do business with them anymore and they have no reason to have my info.  A business mistake.  But insurance companies, I would not put it past them.  We have problems we are dealing with in MI and probably other states in which insurance rates are tied to credit ratings.  The insurance companies are rationalizing it and are still utilizing it.
As computing power and memory become more powerful and cheaper, this is a privacy issue which should be addressed prior to this possible reality.  Legislatation is dragging.
Your example is a great awareness in a humorous fashion, however I take it you do not take this humorous example to be a humorous possibility.  Thank you for the awarenesss and awakening to the unchecked (unlegislated) future.

It scares me yes....  I am not running paranoid through the street screaming the martians are coming it is the war of the datacrats.

However I will take all necessary step to to remain as anonymous as possible...  There are a lot things that I need to fix in my online activities/ proclivities... that reflectifing now takes on a certain copious response.

I have not contactd my attorney general about this, but would like to, what are the avenues for such a venture?

The CEO of Sun Microsystems summed it up pretty well I think.

... In all honesty... when Ashcroft was Attorney General for Missouri, he helped out our company in a lawsuit against the Mo. Department of Transportation... became a family/comapany friend...

Your example is extreme but I know exactly what you mean.  You have good reason to be concerned.  The framework for large databases are being devised now.  Insurance companies and employers would very much like it if their good little humans would refrain from engaging in 'risky' behavior, so as not to ruin the 'investment'.  Behavioral modification through financial 'incentive' (or penalty).  It's already a reality for some things.  Friendly Fascism.  Such a thing would be just cause for a Revolution.  The real question is:  would the masses of sheep be up to it?  Probably not.  The Number of the Beast keeps count... sheep, dogs, and pigs.
