people's profiles have their email "hidden". I want to give them a welcome via email cause I never know if they will make it back here to read the thread that they started. They may have no idea that we send them an IM if they never come back. Maybe that is why we have 5500 members and only 55 people who post or chat.
ok....time for a sugar fix.

I set up a separate email account just for here. That way I know the "source" of any spam.

(including work, i think i have 7 or 8 email addresses... if i don't answer messages sent to one of them, its probably because i forgot it existed. )

My email address is hidden here and on every other messageboard that I visit because I don't like SPAM. The spammers search messageboards and guestbooks looking for email addresses so they can offer to enlarge your penis, sell you drugs without prescriptions, make you rich selling their latest quack product, or help you start your own sex-with-barnyard-animals website.
I have had the same email address since April and average 3-4 SPAM messages per month. I like to keep it that way.

Y'all just get the penis enlargement email? I get both penis enlagement AND breast enlargement mail. I read each and everyone. I carefully evaluate their tried and true methods. Then I go measure my penis and my breast size. I then decide I don't need it. (But it sure felt good doing the measurements)
