hi there all, just thought i`d write to let you all know, on saturday night, over here in sunny old england, on a medical soap, named, holby city, there was a scene where this guy was demanding to see a doc because he said,"they are gonna start any time now, please help me". Apparently, he had been before to casualty and this nurse sent him away saying it was migraine, but he was`nt having any of this.
Well, the security guard at the hospital said to this nurse, that he had seen this before as his brother had the same thing, cluster headaches. So, another doc came to see this guy who buy now was on the floor holding his head in agony, saying that, yes he had all the symptoms of CH. So, they stuck him on oxygen and made an appointment to see the nuero and for him to see his doc for medication. This doc said he had read that it was called the suicide headache as it is the worst pain anyone can suffer. The origianal nurse was flabbergasted, she just said, "well, its a new one on me"
Even in the soaps, medical staff are willing to snuff the conception of these headaches, so god help us if this is what its like in real life, as i well and truly know through first hand experience, being turned away from hospital saying i was a trouble maker, lol, little ole me, a trouble maker, lmao.
Well, i just thought i`d tell you all that at least we are getting a little more recognition.
