My parents named me Elizabeth Kathleen.
Had I been a boy, I would now be Sean Matthew (not to mention being the very first male who's given birth!).
In grade school a boy (Danny Kayser) who had a crush on me called me Dizzy Lizzy or something like that... I saw him a few years ago - he still calls me that!
So.... eventually I marry (no, not while I was still in grade school....DUH!)....
My grandmother-in-law had a hard time remembering my name.... so I became IT.... Tom, IT didn't fold my laundry right... Tom, IT missed a patch when IT mowed the lawn....
On and on it went....
Now, as a mother (we won't talk about what happened first - the child or the wedding....) I've become:
MMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!! He's touching me!
MMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!! She's looking at me!
So, at the ripe old age of 36, I've evolved from Sean to Elizabeth to Dizzy to IT to MMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!! He's touching me!! MMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!! She's looking at me!!
Gosh, I can't wait to see what happens when I hit forty!
