Most neurologists have samples of Imitrex. This is a much cheaper way of obtaining the med. Try getting a neuro to give you some every week, regardless of if your in pain or not. Now thats a way to stockpile !! Unsolved

I'm on new insurance now but I used to have this great arrangement -- I had a mail-order pharmacy thru my insurance that would send 3-month supplies of 24 kits until I said stop, all for free. I must have stockpiled 200 doses at least. Going through them now. I thought the CHs might be gone for good until a few weeks ago. Lucky I piled em up...

According to my doc, almost all meds are still good up to 10 years past their exp. date. The exceptions are chemotherapy drugs and any that contain nitro (as in heart-type) meds. They might lose some effectiveness, but never truly "expire." Kris
