I get migraines every month for the first 3 days of my, um sorry all you guys here, period. Now that I have begun my CH cycle will I still get the migraines or do you all not get migraines too? I was thinking about this last night and don't know if I can handle having both. I tend to get the CH's in the middle of the night, about 2am. My migraines hit first thing in the morning and don't let up all day. I always end up missing at least 1/2 day of work during those first 3 days - thank God for FMLA or I would've been shit canned by now.

I don't have both but some on this board do. My guess would be that you could have both at the same time (ouch!) I often get tension headaches and clusters at the same time. Hang in there - you are tougher than you think

I get both migraines and clusters. Yes, you can get them both at the same time. It isn't fun!

I get both too. It's important to note that some of the abortives work for both. Are you seeing a neuro? I hope your head feels better. -lionsound

My wife gets Hormone related migranes, lucky she has no clusters. But the hormorne related migranes are a bit common.

Yup I get both migraines and CH and I have gotten both at the same time. Sorry to say. But like nani said you can get through it and you are tougher than you think. I always thought of myself as a big baby but I get through it If you don't have a good neuro, find one and so you can hopefully find an abortive that will affect both.

I've had PFDAN for 2 solid days now...but last night I had a migrain. Really weird...coming off of CH into a migrain, where all of a sudden you don't want anything to touch your head, let alone beat it...when all you've been doing for the last month is beating your head. Atleast my remaining Zomig can knock out a migrain. I've had no luck with it on CH.
