Went to new Doc in Nashville today

Anybody heard of him?
Took me off of the bacoflen and indocin. Also took me off of esgic for the pain. I am getting some relief from oxygen.
Doubled my vearapmil to 960 Mgs a day.
Should I take 3 240's a day for a week and then 4 240's ?Any problems with this much varapmil?
Suggested we might try Lithium later. Any comments on Lithium?
Chronic for 18 months now.

Can't comment on your other meds, other than to say that the verap doses do not sound out of line from what I have read here.
Sounds like you have found a decent doc from what you describe.

Your doctor needs to address your question about your prescription. Otherwise, as long as you are handling the side effects from the verapamil, that dosage is not unheard of.
Lithium has helped many here especially taken in conjunction with the verapamil.
