Psychosomatic?

I hate it when people tell me CH is psychosomatic...
But I was just thinking about when I go to the doc for CH. Even before any effective treatment, whenever I would go in and get stadol AND when I finally went into a good neuro, basically anytime I got any sort of bullets for my "beast gun", I would not have headaches for 12-24 hrs, or they would be small ones.
So that makes me wonder if it is in someway psychosomatic at least to an extent...
Does anyone else notice a break when you get fresh meds and have a piece of mind? It's like the beast is scared when you're ready for him.

I'd just like to have a break...fresh meds or not.

To answer the question: No, not really.

Nope, not me.  I have been hit on the way to the neuro, in the neuro's office and on the way home from the neuro.  Before and after filling prescriptions, too.  Fucker likes watching me dance too much, I guess.

Same here.

I have to think that there is some mental link here though.  If I think about having a CH, I'll get one.  So why can't the opposite be true?

I have had that experience several times, most recently (my last cycle) when I picked up a script for Zomig ZMT I didn't have another attack and therefore haven't even had a chance to try it.

LIke don, though, I chalk it up to coincidence. It was, after all, near the end of my cycle anyway.

Nothing unique to clusters.  Drug users get a relieving feeling of mania when it is known the connection has been made and the shit is on it's way over.  Just knowing it is coming starts the nerve connections, well before taking any.  Then just having the shit puts them in a different space altogether.  Happens in other ways too.  Beast scared?  No, not really, not even when you go through all the meds and think of running out again, it likes it.
