First off. How are you defining chronic?

Treatments for episodics and chronics do differ somewhat.

Xanax is great for anxiety, but it's not gonna help the pain much.

I'd think a pasture of cattle should be relatively easy to find around there...
If not, go down south a little. I used to live in Pensaclola and had friends that would go hunting all the time. This is the best time of year for it. But it might take a little scouting....
And I'm not sure those kind are going to be the most effective. They always made me feel poisoned and have a headache... Plus you've gotta eat about 1/4-1/2 oz as compared to 1 or 2 grams or less for the ones they talk about here.

Goto clusterbuster's and order the shit and do it yourself. It's very cheap.
Good luck!

I did the cow pasture thing in the 70's for a hoot.  Long before I ever heard of CH.  Dothan and Sampson Ala.  Panama city Beach Fl.    I was thinking seriously about a trip down that way before I found mail order.  I never remembered getting sick, but saw some folks who did hurl.  Time and CH ticks on.   I hope someday, a cure will be found.

While you're waiting....
100mg B-complex isn't enough B-2
You need between 200-400mg of B-2/day
magnesium....need 200-400mg/day
melatonin, try up to 9 or even 12mg at bedtime. As much as you can and still get up and function in the morning.

Try them all at once and it takes a while, as in weeks, to notice improvements sometimes.

If adding these helps lower the intensity and frequency of the attacks, and you use 02 for the rest, you should be ready to try the psilocybin about the time the crop comes in.

Hi Eddie,

Sorry about your getting slammed right now.  I know of one person who uses the wild variety of mushrooms successfully.  If I lived in central Alabama or the Gulf coast states, I probably would be in the cow pastures also.  Before using the mushrooms do so research on
  www.clusterbusters.com .

The wild variety are probably as strong as the domestic ones, but are not usually picked at the “ideal” time—just prior to the veil breaking as the domestic ones.  They have to be washed (the wild variety—for obvious reasons) and should be dried for accurate weighing prior to dosing.  The domestic ones are never washed. When picked they’ll have some bluish colors around the base of the stem where they are torn from picking.  This color will appear in just minutes after picking.

I have been really successful with the “alternative” treatment having prevented a certain cycle in February 2004.  I have had some cluster activity for about one month now with about a dozen shadows not ranging over a kip 5.  They seem to be under control now and on the decline with the help of the therapy.

Give me a PM if you have any questions………………best of luck to you,

John

Eddie,

I feel for you my friend, I'm in the same situation.  My only advise is, don't be to quick to disregard medication that won't work the first time.  Some medication might be giving you some relief but your anxiety makes you want to throw everything away as soon as an attack comes back (trust me, I know!  Wink)

Keep a log of your attacks and you'll be in a better position to see what helps and what doesn't.
