sure. different ones too. After a high-kip attack that I can't abort, I am wasted, just completely exhausted as if I had run a marathon. Yet I can't sleep! When I successfully abort an attack, I feel a little tired, but also a weird kind of euphoria, something another poster compared to the feeling after sex - I mean not exactly like that but something like it. Usually, I'll have a smoke, and then go on about my business, which includes going back to sleep after the night attacks.

I always feel like I got hit by a truck. Every once in a while, after a bad one, I get so sleepy that I can't stay awake and have an irresistable urge to lie down. I've passed out on the lawn, on the kitchen floor, in a car, floating in an innertube, on the beach, on the sofa, in an airplane.... With 25mg of Imitrex knocking out an attack, I just feel a little dazed. With a full dose, I feel like I'm in slightly slower motion than the world around me.

No, it's not a headache--it's a Stage Ten Primary Chronic Periodic Idiopathic Trigeminovascular Cephalalgic Crisis.

I think we should all get together and do a movie..."Night of The Clusterheads". George Romero would have nothing on us!!!

My after effects are high nervousness and of course the drained feeling. I don't have the luxury of medications because of a lack of insurance. Usually I just use ice and it works to abort an attack sometimes and if it doesn't manage to abort one, it does make the pain less intense but just barely.

The side of my head the HAas on fels tender a bruised...after a badone it is totally wasting, but the smaller ones get me back to normal pretty quick. I had a series of HAs last night, but not the monster. Besides not sleeping , i feel ok toady. I feel stuff dripping down the back of my throat sometimes between attacks.

after long days of headaches, sometimes I start getting visual distortions... I know what double vision is, but it's normally side to side, mine goes up and down... The other visual distortion is right in the middle of the visual field, so if I'm watching TV, the mouths and eyes on people are melting... It goes away when the pain does. Isn't this fun?

My left temple area is always tender, I think the pain was so bad there that it must have done some permanent damage. Scooter
