I finally have a doc appt in 2 weeks to get properly treated for my CH. At least I hope so since he is a headache doc. My family doc is not helping much as I was being treated for migraines for 18.Then this last 2 or so years I found out it was CH. I did not know of any treatment till I found this support group and I am so grateful. The O.U.C.H site has also helped me in finding a doc in my area. For that I am also thankful. I just hope he does the job!              kat

There is aaaabsolutely nothing as important as having hope. This will get you through some very rough and lonley times. Make sure doc tries to keep them from happening and not just filling you with drugs to stop the pain. Mine did that for eight years and I damn near died. Can't stop them altogether but they can be put into a sort of remission { less pain than normal }. I wish nothing but the best for you. Good luck and keep us informed.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Great new Katlee!

In the meanwhile arm yourself with as much education as you can on CH.  Wishing you the best of luck.
