No..but my whole family got flu shots this year for the first time. I don't know why I decided to make us all get it, I just did. Then I hear it's going to be the worst flu season ever, so glad I was led to get the shot. I feel more protected than I would have.

Yep, cost me 2 days of work last week and I'm still feeling it a little. I haven't been that sick in a long time. Jim

So far no one here has had it, but my Mom and Grandmother both got it, and my grandmother got it bad enough that it resulted in a heart attack. So now she is fighting the flu and recovery. For an 85 year old, that woman has as much fight as a clusterhead. I hope I am that tough when I'm that old. Cat

Cat Good for your Gran! (do you share her genes?) Your flu epidemic has even hit our News programmes here so it must be bad. We were warned we were going to get one, but, touch wood, it hasn't really hit as predicted (although sadly a few cases of old people and small children succumbing) Wendy

Here in Crossville, Tn., our hospital is overflowing with flu/pneumonia patients. One of my wives co-workers went to the emergency room this week (not flu related) and they were handig out masks to everyone entering the building...............and we're just really getting into the flu season. I also got a flu shot for the first time this year. Of course, we've also heard that the flu vaccine that they're issuing is not the type that's so virulent..?...who knows?

We haven't been touched, thank goodness. I tried to get my kids vaccinated and they were out two weeks ago. I cannot get a flu shot, allergic. They won't let Mike (hubby) get one because of the MS and something to do with his immune system. So we are just trying to stay clear and trying to get the kids thru school until Christmas vaccation. There have been many cases here, bad cases but noone has died to my knowledge. My little 7 year old neice is very ill right now with it. Any prayers you feel like sending would be appreciated as it has gone to her lungs. Her name is Sara. Keep well everyone.

Not sure if its the flu but I came down sick Thursday and been going down hill since. I got a apointment today at 2:00! This sucks cause I can't get around my mom and dad sick, they really need me. Plus you know JD, Buddy and Deveny will get it. Oh top of that I am in cycle. Maybe they will both be gone by Christmas ! Looking on the bright side of things, I can rest for a few days !

I hope you don't get it Ree! My 7 year old brought it home from school 2 weeks ago and its still hangin on(mainly just coughs and sniffles now). Two days later, she gave it to my 3 year old. My husband came down with it right after that and since he refuses to stop working for anything he got REAL sick so he was in bed all last week. I was in my CH cycle at the same time so the last couple of weeks were pretty harsh around this house!! Finally starting to look up though! I'm tired though!

I was so sick in October that I'm wondering if it wasn't the flu. I wasn't nauseous but I haven't been that uncomfortable with a high fever since 1974. It may have been a strain. I read that most of the poor kids who died also had other chronic stuff like asthma or were diabetic, etc. but what a horror. Be careful kids and don't bite yer nails. Charlie

I got it back in October when it first hit this area of Canada.Lasted 2 weeks for me although the 2nd week was just residual effects. During the first week of the flu I didn't have one CH! Normally I get 5 or 6...hmmmm

No real Influenza...yet...but my whole house is recovering from a rather nasty cold that I am sure was spread when my four year old Daughter was helping Mom make Deviled Eggs for Thanksgiving. While she was stirring up the stuff in the bowl she sneezed something terrible....right onto the Deviled Eggs. I should have taken my eight years old Son's advice when he said "Well...I ain't eatin' none of THAT!" Sniffle.... PS-Hey Richard N.....holler at me....we are neighbors!

The flu is here in Ohio.....Brad was really sick with it for a while.......felt terrible for at least a week and all he did was lay on the couch he felt so bad.......we stayed home Thanksgiveing he felt so horrible sayin it was the worst he's felt in YEARS. It hits you rather fast !! I had what seem'd to be a cold several weeks earlier....mostly alot of sneezeing and feelin achey and kinda lousey but 'nothin' like what he had. So am hopein it was the same flu only milder version cuz I don't want it !!!! Got several freinds that have been droppin like flies past two weeks. I think they all got it at Brad's big birthday bash.....ha-ha...actually alot of friends show'd up SICK cuz they didn't want to miss it ! We got flu shots this year too 'early'. Creepy crawly crude Pam

Bill is in the hospital with sometihng, but they keep saying it's not the flu. Had MY flu shot and ran a fever for about 24 hours, but have to stay healthy to take care of everyone else. My grandson has had it for the past week and he's had his shot. This stuff has all the hospitals around here full. Anyone sneezes on me -- I KILL THEM.... Hugs BD

| Hey Mikeyd, I hear you. I don't know if it would be the same for the DHE, but what I have done with great results is to use the Trex NS under my tongue. Actually I have a related question for all, when you have a stuffy nose due to a cold/allergies, whatever, is it mostly on the CH side? Mine is, totally sucks. Ozzy
