I emailed Dave on Wed. to see how he is doing, but I haven't heard anything back. I know he told me he had been inundated with e-mails, letters, and cards, so I have an idea that he is still trying to catch up on everything, plus he isn't over with everything yet. I do hope he is doing much better.

We are doing "ok". Dave is struggling hard with an exercise routine hoping to regain enough strength to return to work soon. The majority of his "neuro pain" has significantly reduced, and as our doctor has pretty much thrown his hands up in the air we have to hope and believe Dave is slowly getting better from whatever it was. The bad news is his clusters have returned with a vengence. Although chronic, he seems to have two cycles of intensified clusters a year- September to Oct, and Jan to April. Usually at this time of year he is just starting to lose sleep patterns and shadow a lot, but he's getting hit pretty hard right now. The past few days he's been pretty miserable and trying hard not to show it.
I am still hanging on by the knot in the end of my rope, not knowing what's coming next is getting kinda old.
Thanks for caring, Dave is behind on his emails, but is trying to get answers out to all who have written.
Hopefully one day soon we will be able to face the world with more optimism.
I'll let Dave know I posted this, and he may have something to add himself.
