I'm not sure if I'll make it there next year, so I thought I'd post a link to my recent pics of myself (yes, being vain here). I've been working very hard at getting myself healthy, and really wanted to surprise everyone next year, but due to financial issues, it's up in the air right now. So here is a link for those who have met me in person, and don't worry if I do make it there next year, I will look even more different by that time!!!

WoW! What an inspiration to us all! My husband has lost 35 pounds on attkins diet so far and swears by it also. You look so wonderful! I remember when I lost 75 pounds a few years back. You feel like a whole new person. I am proud of you Mel. Keep up the good work!

I don't know you but CONGRATS! I,too, have lost a person and it feels fantastic doesn't it. I was 238 pounds in October 2002 and I now weigh 176. Makes shopping fun doesn't it?
I have 26 pounds to go! Wanna do it together???

wow, congratulations Jade!! It does feel so much better and shopping is great! I just bought a pair (for the first time in my life) of leather pants as a little reward! They are the soft suade kind I am hoping that my hubby's job goes OK, so that next year I can see everyone in Nashville and not feel so self concious (sp?)
Again, great job and slow and steady wins the race, right? I know you can do it!!

Honestly I haven't tried them yet, I'm waiting to go into maintanence before eating pre-packaged food because they stall my loss, but I've heard many good things about them and can't wait to try!!
