What are the effects of Lithium? As I said, Im on Verapamil 240 (going to 320). I also take an SSRI and a mild benzo(ativan .5) for anxiety. Is Lithium a good idea?

in my opinion, only as a last resort. has very bad side effects and requires blood monitoring levels taken.
that's really all i know about it and just my opinion!

I took lithium with an antidepressent and antianxiety drugs and had no side effects with it. It worked great for two years and then quit working for me. I would recomend it highly to anyone.

600 mgs of Lithium a day for 12-13 years and no side effects other than slight hand tremors.....it along with Verapamil kicks the beasts ass all over town and back.
Blood work consists of them taking alittle blood for tests every six months, whoop de doo...id give a gallon of blood a year to cut my chronic CH by 85%, 85% of my HA's never even come thanks to Verap and Lith
