I am in a series of clusters now. They started last week with only one or two, and now they are every night. I have been having cluster headaches since 1994. I have had clusters once every 3 years according to the rcords of my neurologist. He saw me on Monday and put me on steroids. Also, he gave me imetrex(nasal spray). I will take the steroids until Sunday and then start a siezure medication. I have never taken the siezure meds before, this will be new for me I can relate to this site and the views of everyone. Clusters have got to be the worst thing that anyone could possibly have to go through in life. No one can relate unless they have had the experience. Mine is on the right side and I feel like there is a knife turning in my temple and the muscle in the back of my neck pains. My teeth even hurt. My Dr. said that men have clusters more so than women. Reflexology of the feet has helped me when I am in a cluster. My husband has learned the pressure point on my right foot that helps to ease the pain. He has been very supportive. Dr. Michael Andron wrote a book called "Reflex Balance: A Foot and Handbook for Health." Has anyone ever seen it? The publisher is KODESH Inc. It is very informative. I am really happy to be a part of this group and hope that I can help others. I will keep you posted as to my progress in getting rid of these horrible headaches. Best regards to all.
