CathiP sent this to me, and I wanted to share it with all of you: Indian Wisdom An elder Cherokee was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me, a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other represents joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too." The children thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?" The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed."

for those who have eyes to see I gracefully stayed out of the recent "saber rattling" posts. Gold was discovered on Indian lands in Georgia. The Cherokees were taken from their homes, held in stockades, and forced to move to Oklahoma and Arkansas. Almost 14,000 Cherokees began the trek westward in October of 1838. More than 4,000 died from cold, hunger, and disease during the six-month journey that came to be known as the "Trail of Tears." Today its oil 7863 + civilian Iraqis dead since our invasion Your newspapers will tell stories of ungrateful Indians being given "free" land in Oklahoma. The news will report incidents of savage indians attacking brave soldiers...out west. We'll send Custer with our kids to "keep the peace". fortunetly...for the Iraqis...none of us want to live in Iraq...so we won't continue the occupation. They will keep putting new spins on the lies told us at the beginning and finally , probably only after a few wealthy families loose their kids over there, we will tire of the slaughter ONCE AGAIN....we'll "pull out"...old generals and senators post-orgasmically panting and puffing cigars ......most of our children will come home alive. ....and the families of those terrorized by us? A wolf well fed...ONCE AGAIN Wage peace Feed peace den

Den, I respect you bro. Your opinion is okay with me, but i have a question for you! Is it wise to leave Iraq now? Forget whether it was a mistake or not. 1 opinion against another! What happens if we just leave, right now? Patrick
