Poetry Board

As usual I'm reading all of the posts here and I think a pretty good idea came to me. What if we had a board where poetry could be written? Poetry from both sufferers and supporters? I think we'd have a lot of beautiful things to write? Most of you already put poems and things like that in posts so why not have a board specifically for it? They don't have to just be ones we come up with and write on our own, but ones we find on the web or in magazines that touch our hearts. Poetry about pain, like "The Devil" one and the one in the Supporters corner about "the one flaw in women". What do you think?

I think that is a great idea. A creative moments scrapbook idea! A forever keepsake so all the great stuff doesn't get lost. Like Georgia's wonderful writing last year. I have it copied so I don't lose it. What a great writing.

I never considered myself much of a poet. But, after my Mom died, I wrote a Poem that got rave reviews from my family Its amazing how emotions can inspire you to do things that you never ever considered before! Patrick

I think it would be a really good idea. I myself love poetry, reading and writing, even though I'm not so good at it. There's something about a story thats written with words that flow. And there's always those that move and inspire. Maybe if enough people think it's a good idea they'll make one for us to post on like they made a board just for supporters.

They don't have to be just about CH. But it can be used as a place to express the pain of one. But I think almost all poetry links back to a feeling. That's the beauty of it. Any kind of poems would be wonderful to read.

I have been writing poetry since I was a teen and maybe 3 of them were any good. Most were really crappy but the 3 that I am proud of and got lots of praise from friends and family were ones I wrote when n emotional pain (ex death of a loved one, broken heart)and they took me the shortest amount of time to write them too! This is a great idea, I am always looking for inspirtational quotes and poems that touch my heart and it would be great to have a place us clusterheads and supporters could post at and read!

Years ago i attempted to describe a KIP 9-10 in a poem. I'm not too good at that but here it is anyway. i'm going to die again today and wonder why just like a windowpane i'll shatter the silence that nobody hears she'll put me back together just like she always does she'll have me as i was a piece of glass thats empty of hopes except for one... i'm going to die again today
