Weather Changes and clusters

Has anybody noticed a correlation between barometric changes and increased clusters? It seems to increase for me when a big change in the weather comes along. Usually I get 5 to 7 attacks weekly (day or night) but with a weather shift it can increase to 3 or 4 in a day. It might all be in my head (insert joke here) but I'm starting to notice it.

Yup! Everytime it rains or snows I feel it in my head. Makes me a little crazy there because the intensity picks up for me as well.

When I was episodic I got hit in the spring and fall - Then I went chronic in the fall. They would "ease up" (that's a relative term) at times and hit worse at others. Over the past few years, I've watched the barometric changes when I've gotten hit and YES when I get hit worse is when the barometer is going up or down. Another thing - when everyone around me starts having SINUS HEADACHES - I KNOW I'm gonna get hit. Maybe us clusterheads should find a place where the barometer never changes and there are no allergens. Hugs BD

Yes! I get hit more frequently and with with more intensity when there is a change in the weather. I also have noted that changes in altitude (maybe the change in the presure, too?) can and do cause attacks. One of my favorite things is 4-wheeling with my wife and our friends, but sadly when I am in cycle, going over mountain passes and such is a sure trigger for BAD CHs. Hirvimaki

Yes. My clusters typically start in the early spring (Late Feb-early March) and early autumn (late September-early October). I've wondered if there is a correlation between extra allergens triggering CH clusters. Glad I'm not the only one that has noticed this J

| Hummm... That sounds a lot like Arizona, Barbara... According to the "where we live" button, there are 78 people registered there. Wouldn't it be cool to find out they've all been cured since moving there? I'd be packing my bags right now ! miCHel, who also reacts a lot to barometer changes...

Thanks R_! Yeah... I figured this was too good to be true. That beast is always one step ahead of me... At least, you still have that great weather and all these super golf courses. I would trade a little of that for a couple of feet of snow... miCHel

For me, you can toss in electrical storms as well. We had a huge number of thunder and lightning storms this year, and I matched every one of them with an attack.

Hi Mac, Ch is relatively new to me. In my case, the weather doesn't do that much. My ch cycle begins in fall, but I have noticed that sometimes very warm sunshine can cause ch attack. best wishes, sandie99

Hello, It is not my case but many people of OUCH Italia has noticed these things, that is an augmentation of the attacks for who is in cluster or the presence of the beast.... My best wishes to you....... Zaira
