Does anyone know if there is any relationship between cluster headaches and agent orange exposure?

I don't remember seeing anything on that specific relationship. I know two of my old pals were treated for AO decades after exposure but neither of them have CH.

I think this is the first time that question has been ask. IMHO, no, I do not believe there is any connection? More than 99.9% of the people here were never exposed yet they still have clusters. And I have never seen any reports from the studies done that agent orange causes clusters. Welcome to the board. Tell us about yourself.

I asked about this when I first found ch.com. It seemed we had a large number of service men/women and there were several that served in Vietnam (like you BobG ) The bottom line I got when I asked was that there was no connection at all, Sailpappy actually had the headaches while he was in vietnam, and I can't remember what Paco said. I grew up downriver from a chemical city, and the one company produced (and still does) agent orange, and were often dumping in the river. It explains why I'm such a freak of nature, but not cluster headaches. Cat

Hi friends Hardly think that Agent Orange has anything with Cluster to do as the first written case of cluster is dated 1306 and was diagnosed late 1940/first 1950s. But i do not say that it might be a trigger Have been "working" with a simular thing over here. Why is that 98%of the Clusterheads that i know in Norway&Sweeden got their diagnose in late 80s. Can that be a sideeffect of Tjernobyl disaster in 86? Thinking about the downfall areas and those things. Cant get that idea out of my head and dont have any answer on that subject yet.My neuro says that he is not sure, and that it will cost to much to find out. Any ideas about this ? The best from Svenn
