NEW Member Map Feature!

First, I want to thank you all for the good wishes on my birthday (Margi, I'm gonna get you for starting that one so early)! 
Second, I just added a new "gizmo" to the board that should work out to be pretty cool. I would consider it a birthday present to me if y'all would check it out and see how it works! Sufferers and supporters both are welcome to add their "pin"!
If you look at the menu bar at the top of the message board where all of the other icons are, you will see a new icon named "Member Map". This link allows you to put a "pin" on a visual map where you live so we can see where everyone lives in this world. It also adds your country's flag to your profile so it shows when you make a post.
This feature isn't automatic, so each person will need to manually "add their pin" to the map by clicking on the "Member Map" icon, then clicking on the "Add your location" button in the bottom, right hand corner. Doing so will bring up a new window that will allow you to edit the information in your profile.
All you have to do is navigate to the area of the world where you live and move your mouse over the map to the approximate area where you live. Click the left mouse button to place your "pin". Click the "Save" button and you're done!
For those of you who are familiar with the way stuff on the internet works, it shouldn't be too much of a struggle to figure it out... For those of you who aren't, I will put up a detailed manual in the "how to edit your profile" section of the board as soon as I can get it together.
This feature is a lot like the "Where We Live" area of the site, it just puts a "visual" effect to it all.
Please take the few seconds that it takes to add your "pin" to the NEW Member map!

As this map fills in...the reality of OUR pilgrimage approaches. The huge # of sites and their close proximity will reduce the amount of money and food that we will require from each resort/friend that we grace with our visit.

Happy Birthday DJ....thanks for all the work on this MB, it all is very cool. I thought I may add a little bells and whistle to the map function so if you will go here and enter your street address it will give a pretty good satellite image of your neighborhood...quit a neat tool.
