(no, I don't know the history of our Thanksgiving or why we celebrate it differently than Americans ) House is smelling good....Turkzilla has been stuffed and roasting since 8 a.m. Yams are at the ready, brussel sprouts, taters, carrots and gravy will be made (Mike makes a turkey gravy to DIE for). Lightly raining - mixed with the odd flakes of white stuff - cool crisp fall day. Happy Thanksgiving, any Canadians out there!! p.s. my dear friend, ex-pat Cat....want me to send you some turkey stuffing? ya homesick, kiddo?

Heading over again this afternoon for left-overs and turkey soup. Mmmm, mmm, good! grant

Hmmmm...I don't remember reading about the Canadians celebrating Thanksgiving with the Indians and Pilgrims. They must have snuck in! Patrick

Founding Day? That probably would have been the day that "Canadians" burned down the White House, had a party on the front lawn, and gave the Americans our LITE beer! ;D revisionist historian grant

| Feel free, do it again. It's been 189 years and it's about time. You'd have lots of help at the moment. Perogies, cabbage rolls, turnips, and yams (sweet taters Turts and don't like them either) Godawful veggies up there. Cooked cabbage is like oysters. Try to imagine what went through the mind of the first brain-dead human to try an oyster. "Hey, here's cool snot-like blob. Think I'll give a try." Bleaugh. Hope you had a happy day. Charlie
