How would you label yourself? I was a sufferer until I found ch.com and stole the strength and knowledge of those of you who make this site. Now I believe I am a survivor, for I know what to expect and I know that I will overcome it.

Turts, We're all SURVIVORS here. We've been through the worse kind of pain known to man and we SURVIVED it (over and over again). We laughed at ourselves and we supported each other through it. There have been times over the years when someone wanted to give up, but the others wouldn't let them do it so they're still around - that's survival. When someone asks me if I'm afraid of something (like stopping a drunk on the street and asking directions in a strange town) I just say, "I have Cluster Headaches - what the hell can anyone do to ME?" And I'm serious about that. And BTW - drunks give great directions - ask Nancy C. Anyhow - yes we are survivors - and as long as we support each other we will stay that way.... Hugs BD

I am definately both roles here. I accept the fact that some days will be worse than others (sufferer) and I keep myself prepared to handle those days (survivor).
