Can someone tell my what your "shadows" feel like? I was feeling great this morning after having just one CH last night about 1 a.m. Then, all of a sudden late this afternoon, I began to have general pain in my head and feeling lousy. Is this a shadow? If so, does this mean tonight is not going to be fun and I should try to stay awake instead? Thanks again for all you help.

I call a shadow a CH attack that never develops. They can be long lasting in duration and the symptoms, although milder, are identical. If I get a HA at a KIP 4 or less, and it doesn't escalate to a 6+ in 30 minutes or so, then it probably will not escalate. That has been my experience. I have not had a "general" HA since my last hangover which was a LONG time ago. I hope this answers your question...other's definition will vary I am certain. Chris

Mine are about the same. Sometimes it hangs around a kip 3-4 for days at a time though. Those are the ones that really get me down. ...Mark..

Mine are also low Kips and sometimes my nose gets a numb feeling, face feels kinda achy all over and a general blah feeling from the neck up. I can usually control them with 2 or 3 advils every few hours. Had that last year for 3 weeks before the big ones came. Suzy
