Well, Medicaid FINALLY covered my Imitrex injections. That is the good news. The bad news is, they will only pay for 2 shots a month, which I can stretch out 4-6 shots out of the 2. Also went to get this tooth worked on that broke in half last month, and Medicaid will not pay for a root canal, so I am being forced to have it pulled. I normally don't complain about my teeth as my head always vies for first place with pain. I get home today only to find out that Barnes Hospital and Wash. U. did not accept my case into pain management, so now I have to go back to the neuro who gave me the Neurontin and never called me back about physical therapy on my head. I am gonna tell him that I am not leaving his office UNTIL he tells me what meds he is gonna try on me and gets my input. I never had a doc tell me before "The nurse will give you your prescription on your way out." That is the LAST time I deal with that. I never heard of a doc doing that before with anyone. Frustrating to say the least.
So now I have to call this neuro back tomorrow, call medicaid about my Imitrex injections and that "2 shots" are a joke to anyone who has cluster headaches, as that will be gone in 2 days. These Docs and nurses still have so much to learn. I am doing okay though today. Not shadowing as hard as usual, but the back of my head still feels like I have been cranked upside the head with a baseball bat. Unfortunately that pain never goes away. It stays with me 24/7, and they still don't know what is causing that.
Now if I could just utilize the circulatory bloodflow technique...

Peace,
Carl D
