Ever had a twitch??

G'day,

Like most I experience the droopy eyelid on the CH side during an attack. But for the last cycle it seems whenever a HA is not around, I have a constant heavy shadow and this bl**dy twitch to the eyelid on the side of the CH. that just wont go away.

Have any of you experienced this, as it is new to me?

I have also read that it is possible for this droopiness to  become perminent after regular occurance.

Again, has anyone experienced this?

YES!! I've had a constant shadow since july 20. It's hard to feel an attack coming cause they kind of sneak up on me.They seem to be masked by this constant, painintheass shadow.
And my left eyelid feels very heavy and kind of "thick" which is also constantly present. My neck is also consistantly stiff.
Now, all of these things rise and fall together, some afternoons all three are pretty faint and sometimes they're VERY present. I hav'nt had an attack in over a week now,I might be coming out of a cycle, I don't know. But the shadow has agreed to hang around. This is the first year like this.
.....Mark..

Oh yeah, but not necessarily before an attack...sometimes I just get to twitchin LOL.  It is nothing more than annoying for me and usually only goes on for a half hour or so.

I never have had any permenant "drooping"...not yet anyway.   ;D

Yes, definately I have an eye twitch associated with CH.  During the peak of my last cycle, my eye twitched constantly for 3 or 4 weeks.  Enuff to nearly drive me crazy as it happened every minute of every day.  Only my left eye.  The twitch is now my earliest symptom that things are gonna get ugly.

When I read this I had to laugh... Dave constantly complains of a twitch in his eye when he is in cycle.  This past cycle we not only treated the ch (tried to abort the ch attack) but we treated the shadows with pain meds.  Controlled of course.  Dave found that if he relieved himself of the shadow then he had more pain free time in between... good luck and hope your cycle ends soon Ree
