Five new updates one marked "critical"   for MS Windows.

GNU/Linux patches for the week out tomorrow. You did patch Perl, PHP, Sendmail, PAM_SMB and GDM last week didn't you?

Folks,

You want to get one of those Microsoft updates, like right now.  (KB824105)

The patch fixes a vulnerability where a person on your network can actually read the contents of your computers memory.  Technically, this is only possible over Netbios, meaning it can't usually happen over your internet connection.  However, if you ever VPN into work, you are being exposed to a lot of Netbios traffic (normally).

In any case... get the patch now.  This is, quite possibly, the worst vulnerability I have seen Microsoft patch.
