The Harley 100th!!!

Good day all, As my handle implies, I live in a suburb of Milwaukee. I know this is a "little late" but I thought I extend a welcome to any Harley riding clusterheads that may be coming "home" for the festivities. We are expecting somewhere between 300 and 500 thousand bikes this weekend (most of which are already here). Space is tight and I have a three bedroom house, two rooms are empty. Soooo, if you are a clusterhead and Harley ride AND need a place to stay, feel free to give me a holler. Sorry so late but it just occured to me that I could offer some good karma to our group. Jmin

Now you offer! I'd of shined up the Fatboy if I'd know (and then I would have cleaned up my Harley too).

Yeah, it has been a non stop party since monday. Some really sweet bikes and I have to say the female riders have been quite impressive also - schwinggggg! The rumors have been rampant on the concert. It will be on the lakefront and one hell of a get together for sure. The act is still top secret, no-one is talking. The Stones are booked in Europe the same night, Sunday but it could be a cover. Metalica and Airosmith also are high on the list. A few are saying Bruce Springsteen or John Meloncamp. All I know is the way they are building this thing up, it is sure to be a MAJOR EFFEN BLOWOUT either way. My favorite rumor to date is Celon Deon - spelling - is coming. What a riot that would be, literally a riot I believe.

AWESOME! Parade of 10,000 Harleys started a block from my house.... the news helecopters were louder than the Hogs..... Headlining act: Elton John My sis is playing on stage there with members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.... quite possibly (and probably) right on state with Elton John! Didn't get any parade pics... sorry folks. But it's been a great weekend for Harley lovers. and just FYI: What in the world could possibly be louder than 27 Harleys with revved engines? Just one teenager with the bass turned all the way up! Lizzie, who is still alive (believe it or not) but is crabby and doped up on topomax so doesn't feel like posting or talking.......

Alien, Awsome indeed. Felt the thunder and partied right on through the weekend. Made it down to the house of Harley for some of the festivities.Fantastic crowd, fantastic showing and a true feeling of pride as the people of Milwaukee handed over the keys to the city for one week to all Harley owners worldwide. Truelly a once in a lifetime experience. Glad you could be a part of it. Jmin

| Alrighty Jonny!!! That'll be cool! I really hope my hubby has a bike again by next summer. We were bikeless this year and I really missed going to the Weirs. Bike or no bike I'm going down next summer, I'll just take the boat from Meredith Bay (about 5 min from here) that's always a cool party boat anyways lol
