Nice sentiment. Have you met Terry S here? He posts great stuff like yers. BUTT I'm afraid I take exception to the "moral" of the story....especially here in cyber space and at this particular message board where "words ARE deeds". ...very important memorable deeds indeed. I know that often, when someone gets too "caught up" in the drama here, I downplay the event that upset them by referring to the content here as "just black squiggles". It's my method of concentrating on the good and ignoring the bad. Some of us, inspired by the "words" here, do reach out through snail mail and road trips to do material "good deeds". Butt the majority of love's work here at Ch.Com is done thru simple "words". These are our "deeds" and must never be discounted as less valuable than any other act of love. ...nor the viscious hateful words any less "violent" than a physical slap. It's a world far removed from the depression era. New forms of communication have transformed our world. My son unable to talk and barely move is able to say, aided by a computer with speech, "I love my Pop" by twitching his elbow. His "words" are memorable indeed. As is yer story here. May yer posting it here be a memorable "deed". Wage Peace den
