Do you think that when they asked George Washington for his ID, that he just whipped out a One Dollar Bill?

Right... the vials are just 6mg bottles. They do not work with the statdose pens. In the U.S., your doc must prescribe syringes to go with them.

Hi, No way to get smaller doses in the UK yet. The problem is that the original licensing and research were for 6mg - basically for migraine - and to produce 3mg doses would require a complete new license, and the concomitant development/approval process. Since the 6mg ones are needed for migraine, and we are not yet perceived as numerous enough to warrant a whole new aplication on our behalf, it hasn't happened to date. However, it is possible that may change as there is pressure for it. Don't hold your breath! Personally I don't think it will make much difference. The biggest problem for UK sufferers is overcoming cost conscious GPs (after all the jabs are the only form of Imigran actually licensed in the UK, yet they still try and fob people off with tablets/sprays). The difference in cost betweem 3 and 6mg jabs would inevitably be marginal (as between 50mg and 100mg tablets) so we'd be asking them potentially nearly to double their expenditure. Simon
