asymptomatic? or atypical??

How many of you are asymptomatic between regular cylces or had a complete asymptomatic cycle? How do you know for sure and do you usually get hit hard sooner after this happens? I just want to hear your experiences with this. I think this might be happening to me. I noticed it months ago and it seems to come and go. I haven't really kept a log of it because I didn't really think much of it the first few times it happened. I don't know if it matters or not and if I should really log it. I don't recall this ever happening before though.

Anything anyone can share will help us all I'm sure. I was trying to search for info on it also and couldn't find anything..going to check OUCH next. If anyone offhand knows where info can be found on this subject and can pass along the link...that would be great.
Thanks.

yes, I remember when I was "asymptomatic" between cycles...but if you're in a cycle, how can you be "asymptomatic" ?  ???

I don't know. That's kinda why I'm asking. My last neuro (before moving) suffered from clusters but he told me he is now asymptomatic when he use to have the pain while in cycle. So I was wondering if people can be in cycle but be asymptomatic. Maybe I am not saying all this right. What does asymptomic mean to you? What do you experience?

Asymptomatic

Definition:
Absence of symptoms. A person is asymptomatic if an illness or condition is present without recognizable symptoms.

I've read where you can have the symptoms but no pain as well as have the pain but no other syptoms.

When out of cycle I have no shadows, stuffed nose, neck pain, sick body feelings, runny eyes or nose so I guess I become asymptomatic at that stage.

Let me try to tell you how I feel. That might help. Usually between cycles, I don't get HA's at all. No head pain, no shawdows, nothing. Well, my last cycle ended May 2002 and since then I have times when it feels like I'm going to have a CH, but it doesn't happen. The left side of my face/eye/head feels different, like you know it's below the surface but just not coming out. I can even feel the tensness in my neck on that side. But, no actual headpain. It happens a few times everyday (just like I would get hit) and it seems to come and go. Like I will notice this happening for a month or so and then it stop. This has happened about 4 times since my cycle ended. It's almost like I'm in cycle without the pain. Does any of this make sense??

OH OK ! That happens to me to. I've been out of cycle for two years but I am still occassionally persued by the beast. I just out run him I guess. I'll get faint shadows for a day or two, a little neck discomfort, that sort of shit but nothing above a Kip 1 or 2 so far.

Good question Lori, I've been curious about this one this year too.
I've NEVER had symptoms out of cycle...until this year.
I thought I started my cycle at the convention...got hit every other nite for like 3 times (the usual ramp up for me)...then got home...hit every 5 nites, now THAT is weird, never had that before.  Then once a week for 2 weeks...and some shadowing (lite) and zingers in between.  The it all stopped.
Wassup with that??
A 2 week LITE cycle??  NEVER had that before.
Very wierd.
Will wait for others exeperiences, interesting.

2 years ago when due for my cycle, I had every symptom going on( sore neck, eye tearing, stuffed nose, light shadows, ill feeling) but NO CH. This lasted my normal 6-8 weeks then poof, gone. I also thought this was wierd but I'm not complaining. Thought they might have disappeared but then next year was back to the normal CH crap.  Undecided
In between cycles I have no symptoms at all.
