Hey all, its been a while since I was on here but I have a question.  Has anyone here ever had your headaches just stop after a cycle for good?  And if so, was it with medications or just did they stop?  I am really interested to know if these headaches ever stop on thier own   Angry
Well, quick update for those who care, I went to my doctors about a month ago and showed her a crap load of info about CH.  She told me she didnt know much about them and asked me what I wanted her to do.  SO I told her that I wanted to go on verapamil to stop them.  So she did and I now have an apointment with a headache specialist in late october.  The good news is I only have had 2 headaches since then, and they were both a couple days after I started taking the verapamil.  She also perscribed me imitrex spray so they helped there.  I just wanted to say you all have helped me so much with understanding my problem and helping me stop it.  I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish t.here was a way I could say thank you!  Grin

Hi Silverbolt

Glad you are getting what you need from your Doctor.
I had one cycle, then nothing for a long time.

I had already arranged to go to the UK CH conference and went feeling like a bit of a fraud who didn't have Ch at all. I told people I was probably that unusual person who only ever gets it once! They smiled kindly at me like a silly child and said nothing then BANG, I got hit about a week after I got back. And they never said "I told you so"

Don't tempt fate is what I learned, just keep your head down and pray!

Hope life carries on well for you

My Dad had them for 25 years. No meds like there are now! At the age of 43 they stopped for him and he has been pain free now for 30 yrs.

Do you think that when they asked George Washington for his ID, that he just whipped out a One Dollar Bill?
