It's to learn more about treatment, and how others deal with clusters. Its also to be with some very wonderful people in person. There has been so many times I have read a email or post and all I wanted to do was hug that persons neck. The convention gives me that opportunity. We all make friends here and to finally met that friend in person is just the greatest thing. Watching others get hit was the sadest thing at the convention, but its nice to beable to hug them when its over, something you always wanted to do but couldn't on the board. The joking we do, the fun we have is just wonderful. DJ told be I was back to my oldself. He has watch all stages of my health issues. He watched me fading away getting smaller every year. I kept telling everyone I was getting better and for DJ to say that made my day. Every year I thought would be my last, but also every year I made the convention my goal to make the next one. I oue a lot to DJ and the rest of you. I have two familys the one here at home and the one here. I can't make it with out the two. The convention is more much more than a party ! I hope to someday met the rest of you. Start now saving for next year. Its a combination of convention and family reunion. Can't wait till I see my family in person again!!!

Elaine What you told us here is something we all can learn something from. To actual meet a fellow clusterhead in RL is something really special. Sharing experience, sozializing and all I`ll remember the first time i actually met another clusterhead. I just felt that i was reborn again, even my wife could see a change in me after that first weekend"convention" we had here in Norway She is one of my very best friends now. This happend close before i found Clusterville.Just wish i could join you all but the price of the flight ticket stopped me there The very best to my friends here in Clusterville Svenn

Ditto what you said E....it was all just amazing. And as Joe said in one post (somewhere in all the convention stuff).......my life will never be the same again. It changed completely on Thursday, July 17, in ways I have yet to comprehend. One really cool thing, is now when I read the posts of people who were there......I hear their voice as I read. It is no longer just black squiggles on a screen. For me, I'm not sure it ever was.
