Any new miracles from this time last year?

I'm back again for another yearly round of mind numbing torture! Forgot my password from last year so I had to make a new one! The beast is rearing his ugly head and I just wanted to check with everyone and see if there is anything new in the world of cluster's. Mine are episodic and very punctual this year. I'm glad I have this web site to get me through it! Any new info would be helpful, and I am interested in hearing more about this shrrom treatment. I am a 17 year sufferer and have seen and done it all! Currently using imitrex and oxygen, the most efeective to date, but my insurance only gives me 15 and 3/8's a month of imitrex. How the hell do you get the 3/8's out of the pharmasist? Stupid insurance companies! Anyways, hoping for a reply from someone saying yes, we found a cure! Doubt it, but I am just starting a cycle and still have my sense of humor. Give me a few weeks and I'll be crawling in here begging for relief!

I have been here almost daily for 4 years. IMHO you got a shitload of catchin up to do. The sheer volume of daily posts here is staggering. This will be the slowest weekend in a year cause most of the rattletraps are face to face, smile to smile at the convention. I will say that between this forum, the "medication" forum and the "supporters" forum there is one of the widest variety of techniques and meds and theories currently being discussed than I have seen for quite some time. One definative silver bullet in the CH world is as yet undiscovered....BUTT You may find yer "miracle" waiting in one of those posts...most certainly a way to "manage yer pain" is at this site. You have to look I can't take you there because I don't walk in yer shoes or hurt in yer face. ...and beyond that...I believe there is some crappy mumbo jumbo from the inexperienced and/or self styled "experts" being put forth....including some politics from the dark side masquerading as saints being espoused here.....as always. My catch phrase, "take what ya need and leave the rest" seems timely right now. ....another catch phrase "grab an oar" comes to mind....which I saw you do quite nicely in yer responce to CarlD's post. Welcome back Walk in the sunshine den

Lots of good stories to check from newbies and others that may switch on the lightbulb above your head. Take a good look and feel free to ask questions or contribute again. There ought to be some informative posts coming out the the convention in the next few weeks. It was interesting as hell to me and great to listen to an MD who oddly, decided this horror needs some attention. The future may look a bit brighter for some who are still afflicted. At least they know more research is actually going on. Stick around and rant away if you need. Anything that helps take your mind off the beast for a minute, is fine. Charlie
