Please say a prayer....

Quote Quote Modify Modify

As most of you know my Mom has been ill for a long time now. I would go to see her each week and watch her fail more and more. Sometimes I would get angry that God could be so cruel to keep someone here like this but I know there is always a reason.
I last saw Mom saturday and as always when I kissed her goodbye I wondered if it would be the last time. This saturday was the last time I would ever be able to kiss her. She passed away today.
With a very very heavy and sad heart I mourn for her but I am also relieved to know she is in a better place and with my Dad now.
Thank you all for being here in happy times and sad.
I love you Mom.... Cry

Suzy,

I'm so sorry for your loss.   Her suffering is over now, and she can be at peace.  I will pray that God will put your heart at peace as well, and give you comfort during this very difficult time.  He is there for you!

Suze....

I'm so very sorry.  I know your mom was suffering, and so were you watching her in the state she was in.  Its not easy to admit how hard it is, and to know that they must stay with us until it is their time.

She is not suffering now, and though you will miss her, be consoled in her peace.

This is sad to hear, Suzy. Words won't take away your pain but they may comfort you, even a little. And so let me remind you that you were a very devoted daughter who showed your mother love often and made her feel joy at times it would be hard to find any. And not just while you visited, but her memories of you and your visits while you were away surely must have brought peace and love to her heart and smiles to her face. Now it's time to let her return that favor to you and let your memories of her bring peace and love to your heart and a smile to your face, albeit, between your necessary tears.
Peace be to you and your family.

Awwww, Suzy.....I know it was tough to see her wasting away....the time seemed to pass so slowly, and you were uncertain and frustrated. it's no easier knowing she is gone, but you must believe the pain will lessen with time.
You were a good loving daughter.
I hope soon the pain you feel today will be replaced with the warmth fond memories bring us.
My sympathy to you, and safe passage for your mom.

Prayers being said for you and your Mum.
No words take away the pain, but she will always be with you when you remember the good times and watching over you in your bad ones. Talk to her often, I promise it helps.

Suzy, even when they are sick and in pain and you just pray that God will grant them release, you are never prepared.

Know that she is free now, no more pain.  Now she watches over you and wants you to live and love and feel joy.  You will feel her in the sunshine on your face.

The love will never leave and that is the essence of all good human relationships.

My thoughts are with you.

Very sorry. This think hits so hard but things will get better.

You were certainly the good daughter and even though lots of things will fade a bit, all those good memories will be enhanced. It's that it works that way.

Let us know how you're doing and keep pluggin away. It gets easier.

Suzy, I know there are no words or gestures which can ease your pain right now.  Just remember how much your mother loved you, and how much you loved her.  The pain will become easier with time, but the memories of your love for each other will be there forever.  She is out of pain and at peace, it is just so hard on the surviving loved ones.  Know that my thoughts are with you, and I wish there was some way to make this easier on you and your family.

Thoughts and prayers are with you,
Tracey

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your kindest words. There is no other place better to go to find comfort.
I prepared myself for this long ago and I do believe my Mom really did leave us way back when she became a shell of herself. Her spirit had already left her to find a better place and thats what I hang onto.
You are an amazing group of people and wish I could hug each and everyone of you. I will be fortunate enough to be able to hug some of you soon though.
Love to you all,
Suzy
