I have been with Kaiser ever since I started having CHs (11 yrs). I have had a variety of doctors. Some understanding of CHs, others passive. Overall, they don't seem to be willing to really work at tracking different treatments. Any insight on how to get more from these guys and gals? Has anyone had success on getting them to kick in for an O2 bottle at home? Thanks for your help.

jloc, I don't know who Kaiser is, but if you go to clusterheadaches.org and check out cluster resources, you will find a list of doctors who are clusterhead friendly. Maybe there will be somebody in your neighbourhood. Also, check out all the information under the buttons on the left here, print it out and shove it under your docs nose. If the O2 scrip really does not come off, you may want to try welders' O2 with a special regulator valve. Ask about that here if you need it. Also, do your home work, check out the posts on O2 and find the newly instituted O2 site. Hope all of this helps.

I use to have Kaiser back in the day. Personally, I think they suck but if they are working for you that's all that matters. I never had a problem getting oxygen from them (my durable medical equipment was covered at 100%) but maybe you have a different kind of plan. Good luck, Virginia
